Fishing is Heating Up With the Water Temps

Sunday, March 15, 2009

Water temps are heating up and so has the fishing. Redfish have been lurking in the shallows and can be caught with a stealthy approach. Poling your skiff is very necessary to keep the fish from blowing out or being spooked. Black Drum have also made a solid showing lately. They have been foungd in Dunn Sound and the ledges in the I C W. Looks like the gulp shrimp fished on a light jig seems to work but don't count out fresh shrimp or blue crabs.
